Prevention, alleviation, healing - the natural world of the majestic Alps has recipes for many of our modern-day illnesses. For this reason the Lindner Alpentherme focuses particularly on spinal problems, burn-out syndrome, asthma and allergies. It takes prevention seriously and successfully combines the power of nature with modern healing techniques.

Nutrition
Healthy , balanced nutrition is good for the figure and can  delight the palate. Together with our doctors, we'll help you find the diet that's right for you, with a choice of wellness, vegetarian, 1,100kcal and traditional menus.

Sport and Exercise
Sport and exercise in attractive and inspiring surroundings keep your body fit. Particularly in Leukerbad at 1,411m above sea level, where altitude training happens automatically. A wide range of equipment is provided in our fitness centre at the Lindner Alpentherme. We'll get you into shape with power training, conditioning work-outs, gymnastic or stretching exercises.

Or you can make yourself even more beautiful with a personal care packages at our  Clarins Beauty Center.
The thermal spa - water is the elixir of life
The healing and vivifying properties of Leukerbad's spa water have been bringing people here for centuries. The Romans were among the first to propagate the benefits of this elixir, which comes to the surface in Leukerbad after flowing underground for 40 years. Our thermal baths in the hotel and Alpentherme are supplied with 1.5 million litres of warm (51°) spa water from the St Laurent Spring every day. And you can enjoy it in wonderful indoor and outdoor baths with incomparable mountain views. Splash out and indulge!

Indoor and outdoor thermal baths
The Lindner Alpentherme (open daily from 8 am to 8 pm) has an indoor thermal bath of 200 m2 with water temperatures of 36 and 40 degrees Celsius, and an outdoor bath (300 m2, 36°) with breathtaking Alpine views. Both pools are equipped with a number of integrated facilites such as neck showers, underwater massage jets, bubble couches and aero-hydro jets for you to discover!

Activities
Our daily activities programme includes many great ways to have fun – and boost fitness and health at the same time! Make the most of our free water exercise classes like Aqua Wake Up, Aqua Fun, Aqua Power and Aqua Motion (check the notice at reception for times), expert health and beauty tips and relaxation exercise sessions (check the notice for times). And don’t miss the chance to try one of the entertaining water board-games!

The name of this method is derived from the words “scent” and “Tao” (Chinese for “path” or “way”. This wonderfully gentle body treatment with warm stones and a pressure point massage is performed in our BABOR Beauty Suite, which is especially appointed for ScenTao treatments.

Valais grape-seed treatments
The pips of the Valais grape also contain the vital substance OPC, a radical-catcher that helps prevent wrinkles. The therapy also boosts the circulation, blood flow, the immune system and fat metabolism, and helps prevents cardiac disorders, cancer and Alzheimer's disease.

These treatments reach back to the Middle Ages, when wealthy ladies used to use cold-pressed grape oil as a beauty lotion. It was well known that this oil keeps skin healthy, vital, soft and attractive.
